Peasant Dress with Shirring

Elyssa and I made this dress for her yesterday (she know wants to sit on my lap and 'help' every time I sit down at the sewing machine)It was my first attempt at 'shirring' (sewing with elastic thread to make the gathers around the chest) it was super easy and I really like it! I took these pictures while she was watching signing time. In the bottom left she is signing 'bird' and in the top middle she is signing 'drink'.
