Another dress for Elyssa

I have been debating whether or not to make Elyssa another dress for Lorien's wedding in August, she doesn't need any more dresses, but at the same time I really wanted to make a special one myself and so when I saw this fabric the other day it made up my mind. I love this fabric. I saw a dress similar to this in one of the baby clothing stores at the mall and first made the dress out of some cheap pink fabric I had lying around to make sure it would go together the way I thought and that it would fit her. I am soo happy with out it turned out. I still need to add buttons to the back so that she doesn't have a safety pin holding it together. I am also planning on making matching bloomers.

  • This dress is beautiful Karin (your daughter is too!). I can now put little dresses on my daughter again now that she is walking -- I never seem to put them on my girls when they are crawling since they have such a hard time moving then!

  • What a gorgeous little girl!! What a comfort to know that other moms are going through the same concerns regarding weight, and then you look at the pictures, and all I see is a happy, healthy little girl! Thanks for the encouragement!!
